My name is Gratia Kautek.

Born 1989 in the colorful city of Berlin, Germany - a year of movement and change. From early years on I was drawn to art and animals and quickly was recognized for my artistic talent. In my teenage years I was moved to the city of art, Vienna, Austria. I studied Zoology at the University of Vienna. During that time I continued my artistic creations on the side and worked as a consignment artist for paintings, graphic design or children book illustrations. I also showed my work in art galleries around town. After graduating from University I worked, travelled and lived in many places around the world, including New Zealand, Canada and Turkey. These life experiences inspired me and formed my artistic being.

Now my home is Anchorage, Alaska, where my art has received a home and wide appreciation. You can see my art in local cafes and art galleries throughout the year - announced in my social media platforms as well as occasionally in local newspapers.
